Swype for Android


Swype is a new text input method for touchscreen mobile phones with the QWERTY keyboard. It was developed by Swype Inc. and was first commercially available on the Samsung Omnia II using the Windows Mobile OS. Swype works by entering a word by sliding a finger or stylus from letter to letter, lifting only between words. It also uses error correcting algorithms and a language model to guess the word intended.
